ORION

Microchip No.: 900164002056690
D.O.B.: 11/01/2021

Don’t be fooled by his permanently grumpy face, this sweet boy has lots of love to give.

Orion was originally meant to be a breeding boy, but he is much better suited to the luxurious life of a lap cat so is looking for his forever family. He is on the small side, weighing only four kilograms so compared to a lot of ‘normal’ cats he is quite little.

Orion has had a general health check up and is up to date on vaccinations. He has been fully DNA tested for diseases and has scanned clear of HCM by a cardiologist last year. His teeth have a little staining and gingivitis and he is currently on a dental food to help prevent build up, but he will eventually need a proper dental clean and possible extractions when he is older. We would encourage his new owners to continue extra care for his teeth – there are lots of products on the market including treats, water and food additives, etc. We have even introduced him to teeth brushing though he is still a little unsure of it.

Orion does like company, so would be happy with kitty friends or possibly even a calm dog though would still require a proper slow introduction to ensure things went smoothly. He would be okay as an only cat but would need lots of cuddles and attention, he can be a clingy boy and without other cats to distract him will spend his time meowing at humans demanding attention if he knows you are home.

Orion is currently eating well and using his litter with no issues.

He requires an indoor only home, though access to an outdoor cat enclosure would also be great as long as there are some nice shady spots to hide from the sun! Orion definitely likes to sunbake and will get a tan (and even burnt) if you let him, so he would need supervision & to be limited if he had any outdoor/sun time even in an enclosure.

We ask a standard adoption fee of $1500 for all of our cats, unless otherwise stated. For Orion we are asking an adoption fee of $1200 as we know he will likely need dental procedures in future. Our adoption fees help us to recoup some costs and allow us to continue to rescue and rehabilitate sphynx cats in need!

Orion is currently located in Melbourne.

WASABI

Microchip No.: 985141001243050
D.O.B.: 13/09/2019

Wasabi is a special little girl, she can be a bit spicy like her name… but once she trusts you, she will never leave you alone!

She had a bit of a rough start to life, and initially when she came into care was the most ‘cat’ like sphynx we have ever had – she was a little bit judgemental, hissy and didn’t like being picked up. After a bit of patience and time to settle in she really came out of her shell, she loves cuddles on the couch, being carried around like a baby and is as playful as a kitten when we get out toys. In a new home she will probably be standoffish initially, but it makes it so much more rewarding when she comes out of her shell!

Wasabi & Stitch were both surrendered together from the same home and get on well together, but would also be okay to go separately.

Wasabi has been to the vets for a general health check up and is currently up to date with her vaccinations. She is doing really well and has no health concerns, however she can get a little bit anxious in new situations. At the moment we have been giving her some medication to help calm her only when she has to do stressful things like attend vet appointments, which has been working well.

Wasabi’s ideal home would be a mature household with no children and no other pets (unless you would also like to adopt her friend Stitch!). With a proper, slow introduction she could possibly tolerate another cat or even a calm dog, but it would take patience and understanding.

Wasabi is currently eating well and using her litter with no issues.

She requires an indoor only home, though access to an outdoor cat enclosure would also be great as long as there are some nice shady spots to hide from the sun! Being a white cat she is even more sensitive to the sun than a normal sphynx.

We ask a standard adoption fee of $1500 for all of our cats, unless otherwise stated - for Wasabi we are asking a discounted fee of $1200 on her own, or if adopted with Stitch they will be $1000 each ($2000 for the two of them). Our adoption fees help us to recoup some costs and allow us to continue to rescue and rehabilitate sphynx cats in need!

Wasabi is currently located in Melbourne.

STITCH

Microchip No. 991001002377311
D.O.B.: 10/05/2019

Stitch is a sweet little boy even though he had a bit of a rough start to life. He hasn’t let his past experiences get to him and still trusts the humans he meets, demanding attention and cuddles at every opportunity. He also likes perching on cat trees or the windowsill to watch the world go by and will take any chance he can get to play with ‘cat teaser’ toys.

Wasabi & Stitch were both surrendered together from the same home and get on well together, but would also be okay to go separately.

With a proper, slow introduction Stitch could learn to tolerate another cat (unless you would like to adopt him with his friend Wasabi as well!) or even a calm dog, but he will initially be a bit unsure. We introduced him to some other cats in our care and he befriended some but let others bully him, so it would need a bit of patience to make sure the transition went smoothly.

Stitch has been to the vets for a general health check up and is currently up to date with his vaccinations. He is doing really well and has no health concerns.

Stitch is currently eating well and using his litter with no issues.

He requires an indoor only home, though access to an outdoor cat enclosure would also be great as long as there are some nice shady spots to hide from the sun!

We ask a standard adoption fee of $1500 for all of our cats, unless otherwise stated - for Stitch we are asking a discounted fee of $1200 on his own, or if adopted with Wasabi they will be $1000 each ($2000 for the two of them). Our adoption fees help us to recoup some costs and allow us to continue to rescue and rehabilitate sphynx cats in need!
