Rehoming Cats
We know rehoming a cat is a very difficult decision and we are here to help in any way we can. There are usually two avenues we go down when we receive a rehoming request.
The first option is assisted rehoming, where the cat would stay with you and we would make a post about them (with your assistance) then direct all enquiries to you to choose a new home. This is a good option for people who would like to be very involved in the process of finding their cat a new home, when cat is healthy (or all medical conditions are appropriately managed) and if the rehoming isn't urgent.
For help with assisted rehoming please reach out via the general contact form, send us an email or contact us on social media.
The second rehoming option is taking the cat directly into foster care with us. We would then have the cat seen by our vets for a general check up (even if they are perfectly healthy, just to be safe), complete any vet work required and then find them a home when they are ready. This can be a better option when the rehoming is urgent, or if the cat has medical or behavioural needs that must be taken care of before they can find a new home.
We are based in Melbourne, Victoria but transport cats from all over Australia, also on occasion we will place cats with local foster carers if needed.
If you think that your cat coming directly to us for foster care and rehoming is the best option please fill out the form below.
